My design: My final design for my NASA impactor is a bottle rocket. My impactor is a clay ball with a top attached to it. The top is pointy and causes a deeper impact.

My results; We launched it outside on our school's football field. It went around 15 ft in the air. When it came back down it made a small indent on the lawn and made the impact that NASA is looking for. Some grass did fly and we were able to see soil and the dirt underneath the surface. We launched the rocket up at a 90' due to the nature of our launcher - but I am not sure that it was the ideal angle.
