This is a good start on the preliminary design.  Probably for your experiment you can redesign the experiment so you don't need any dangerous fuel injectors or jets/rockets.  What will your impactor be made of, and how will you measure the angle that it hits the ground?  Also think about a good way to measure the amount of ejecta that gets kicked up during the impact!
