Final Design Mrs. Allnutt’s Virginia
Sixth Grade
When Astronauts come to Mars they are going to live in a dome. Inside are pipes that are filled with oxygen. They get energy from solar panels on the outer shell of the dome. There is an extension on the tubes that reaches a greenhouse on the outside of the dome. In oxygen emergencies, we have oxygen backpacks which last up to 75 hours. The dome is tinted to protect against UV rays. It has a backup generator at night for electricity. It has satellites to send messages Back to Earth.
