The Good Old WATTS LinePressing![]() Broadcasts/NASA Core After pressing 4 you will hear: This mailbox will provide information about accessing the video components of Passport to Knowledge. Our current project, Live From The Hubble Space Telescope, provides two live, interactive video broadcasts, in addition to the introductory program which aired in November 1995, which remains available on tape . The first hour long broadcast, "Making Your Observations" is scheduled for Thursday, March 14th, 1996 from 13:00-14:00 Eastern. The second hour long broadcast, "Announcing Your Results" is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23rd, 1996 also at 13:00-14:00 Eastern. Important: Please check listings close to the broadcast dates, since Shuttle missions may pre-empt NASA-TV coverage, and not every PBS station will carry the programs at their original live dates. However, we expect both broadcasts to be carried live by NASA-TV on Spacenet 2, 69 degrees West, C-band, Transponder 5, 3880 Megahertz, Horizontal, audio on 6.8. NASA-TV also re-broadcasts programs periodically. Check NASA's TV schedule on Spacelink, or via the Passport Web site. Many PBS stations around the country will also carry the programs live or tape. Please check with your local PBS station, or arrange to download the programs free from Telstar 401, 97 degrees West, Ku- band, transponder 8, 11915 Megahertz, Horizontal, audio on 6.2 and 6.8. Videotapes of all Passport to Knowledge programs are available after broadcast from NASA Core, at cost plus shipping. Contact NASA Core at 216-774-1051, extension 293 or 294. If you have questions or concerns about accessing the Video, please contact Passport Education Outreach Coordinator, Jan Wee, at 608- 786-2767. This mailbox is NOT accepting messages.
