We have some preliminary plans. I have
attached some drawings that the students have done. We want to use solar
power and satellite communication. We have ideas for portable habitats
that we can use to do longer explorations and then bring stuff back to
base.
One of our big concerns is meteors hitting
the base. What can we do to protect ourselves. Should we invent a new
protective polymer?
We hope to generate oxygen in green house
with plants and algae. We will use one whole pod for sewage treatment
to purify our water supply so it can be reused.
We have a lab unit and
a living unit as well. The settlers will have separate areas in the
living pod.
There is a central meeting place for recreation and problem solving.
