I'm madly trying to filter the questions I've got coming in
from students. Because I'll be in Washington DC for 5 days
from Friday to Tuesday and I'd like to get them all cleared up
by the time I leave.

Yes I'm still here, the DC thing is not MTO related, but is an
educational convention. There are Lots of other
homeschoolers involved but haven't made it to the chat yet. I
know of at least 10 homeschoolers including some hs groups
that are involved.

Yes, I am still here. It would be nice to hear from the others
to know what they are doing with it. What is the convention
that's going on? By the way, have you been a "professional"
teacher in the past. You seem to be a bit more involved that
most "parent" teachers.

No, I'm not a "professional" teacher just a professional
student myself with a love for learning everything. I was and
am one of those "kids" who can't get enough of anything.
I'm interested in just about everything.

Sounds like the best kind of teacher to me. I hope you have a
great time in DC. BTW, have you heard word about when the
MTO "Countdown" program will be aired on NASA-TV. I
had someone ready to record it for me. Apparently it went out
over PBS but our local station experienced difficulties trying
to capture it.

Unfortunately, we don't have cable or a dish so we were
unable to view it. But I'll be purchasing the video as soon as
it's available. I have to go now, but I'm glad you were able to
come and visit. I thought we'd have a couple of others here
today, something must have come up. I'll do some more
e-mailing and hopefully we'll have some more folks for next
week.
