QUESTION:
What happens to the animals when you take off, because of all the gravity?
 
ANSWER from Mary Williams on April 21, 1998:
The animals experience the same force that the astronauts feel.  They
probably feel like something is pushing them down on the floor of the cage.
It doesn't seem to bother them anymore than it bothers the astronauts. They
seem to recover from it just fine.
