Flight Experiments
Spacelab Mir-I
This NASA Research Announcement (NRA) solicits proposals to participate
in the Avian Developmental Biology Flight Experiments Spacelab-Mir-1.
This program provides an opportunity to propose research to investigate
changes in animal development during space flight.
Participation in the Avian Developmental Biology Flight Experiments Spacelab
Mir- I is open to all individuals and all categories of domestic and foreign
organizations, industry, educational institutions, other nonprofit organizations,
NASA laboratories, and other Government agencies. Proposals which will
enhance or complement the scientific return from research currently being
supported by the National Institutes of Health are encouraged. Proposals
may be submitted at any time up until January 5, 1994.
Further details relevant to these programs are included in the enclosed
appendices. Appendix A provides technical information applicable only
to this NRA in the general areas in which proposals are solicited, plus
amendatory guidance to Appendix B. Appendix B contains the basic guidance
needed for the preparation Of solicited proposals in response to an NRA.
Appendix C contains forms for inclusion with proposals submitted in response
to this NRA. Appendix D contains a schedule of important events and deadlines
related to this NRA.
