MISSION: STS-109 - HST Servicing Mission 3B VEHICLE: Columbia/OV-102 TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE: Feb. 28, 2002 at 6:48 a.m. TARGET KSC LANDING DATE: March 11, 2002 at 3:33 a.m. MISSION DURATION: 11 days CREW: Altman, Carey, Grunsfeld, Currie, Newman, Linnehan, Massimino ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 308 nautical miles/28.5 degrees Shuttle Processing Note: The Shuttle Management Team is participating in the Flight Readiness Review today to assess the status of Shuttle Columbia's STS-109 Mission, currently scheduled for Feb. 28. At Pad A, the Rotating Service Structure was moved to the parked position to prepare for the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) hot fire later today. The Hubble payload will be delivered to the pad early tomorrow and the Reaction Wheel Assembly will be replaced with a new unit before the payload is installed aboard Columbia on Sunday. A Risk Assessment Team is continuing its investigation to determine the stress integrity of the bolts that attach the hydraulic pumps to the three APUs. MISSION: STS-110 - 13th ISS Flight (8A) - ITS SO TRUSS AND MOBILE TRANSPORTER VEHICLE: Atlantis/OV-104 TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE: April 4, 2002 TARGET KSC LANDING DATE: April 15, 2002 MISSION DURATION: 11 days CREW: Bloomfield, Frick, Ross, Smith, Ochoa, Morin, Walheim ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 122 nautical miles/51.6 degrees Shuttle Processing Note: Shuttle Atlantis is in an Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) high bay undergoing pre-launch preparations for the STS-110 mission. The right hand Orbiter Maneuvering System (OMS) pod has been installed after completion of repairs to the attach point No. 5 bolt holes. Electrical connections are in progress. MISSION: STS-111 - 14th ISS flight (UF2) - MPLM VEHICLE: Endeavour/OV-105 TARGET LAUNCH DATE: May 2, 2002 TARGET KSC LANDING DATE: May 13, 2002 CREW: Cockrell, Lockhart, Chang-Diaz, Perrin; (ISS up) Korzun, Whitson, Treschev; (ISS down) Onufrienko, Bursch, Walz ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 122 nautical miles/51.6 degrees Shuttle Processing Note: The Forward Reaction Control System (FRCS) will be delivered to the OPF today for installation on Orbiter Endeavour early next week. The Payload Premate Test and verification of the Power Reactant Storage and Distribution (PRSD) system are in progress. ORBITER MAINTENANCE AND MODIFICATION PERIOD VEHICLE: Discovery/OV-103 Shuttle Processing Note: Discovery is in the OPF awaiting the start of its Orbiter Maintenance and Modification (OMM) period at the Kennedy Space Center that is scheduled to begin late this summer.
