Who I am and what I do

Hi my name is Liz Stryjewski and I work for Kennedy Space Center under the Life Sciences Contract. I started working on this contract over 10 years ago as an electron microscopist studying muscle atrophy in microgravity. I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1985 with a Bachelors Degree and went on to earn my Masters Degree at the University of Albany, NY. I joined the RASTA project two years ago and I am currently studying the effects of the space flight environment on radish growth and development.

Personal Information

I am a very active person out side of work and I have many interests, but the one activity I consider the most fun is ice hockey. I am a captain on a men's ice hockey team that won a divisional championship in the month of December 2001.
