Bullyard State School
Mr. Brennan's 6/7th Grade
Joel
For the NASA competition ,the sixth graders at Bullyard
State School drew a device that would be able to lift the PSA and make
it do its special requirements.
There is two bits of string attached to the PSA.
The string will go over the winches. The string will get tied around
the attachments on the wooden post.
Response from Expert Dan Andrews:
This is a very clear diagram - easy to understand.
What happens if I push the ball up and then
let go? I think the ball will simply fall down.
What if I pushed it sideways? I think it
would move until I removed my finger, and then it would swing back like
a wrecking ball.
How would you create a way for the ball to
keep moving after you push it?
