To Michael:
Of all of the designs, yours is definitely the one that
I would like to
hang out with. The astronauts work for many hours every day. They would
really like a buddy that could help them relax.
I like the drawing because it helps me understand what the
robot will look
like. How big is the robot? Why did you choose that size
If it moves around with flippers, how would you make sure
that the
flippers don't hit anything? How does it power the flippers? What does
it
do if it runs out of power?
If the robot is human-like and has arms and legs, how do
you make sure
that it doesn't break anything?
What does the robot do if it doesn't understand what you
tell it? What
does the robot do if you aren't looking at it while it is trying to tell
you something with the ticker tape?
Feel free to ask us more questions. The best way to solve
a problem is to
really understand it. Keep up the good work.
