Married to Bruce, an Electrical Engineer at Toyota Technical Center. Two children, Frances age 19, a freshman at EMU and Scott age 16, a junior at Dexter High School. 2 dogs, 4 cats, 1 hive of bees and a saltwater reef tank (12 gallon)

Interests:
Canoeing, fishing, beekeeping, traveling, watching sports on TV, especially football and boxing, being out in nature.

Passions:
Teaching biology, exploring, learning, laughing, enjoying life.
