My name is Johana del Carmen Orellana Villazón, and I teach mathematics and computers. I received my teaching credentials from the Northern Catholic University in Antofagasta. I have been formally teaching for about 3 years but from even from the time I was in high school my vocation appeared continually as I would teach my peers.
In the university, I worked as assistant to the department chair in courses like probability and statistics, calculus and algebra. Recently I have taught highschool classes, and it has been a very enriching experience to find myself with young people who are eager to learn new things. For this reason it interests me mainly to perfect my abilities to give new tools to my students. At the moment I work at Colegio Antonio Redic, teaching second and third level highschool math.
In the area of computers, I am familiar with mathematics programs, advanced in Microsoft Office, and in the computation area, I have knowledge in mathematical programs, Microsoft office at advanced level and programming knowledge, this is an area that has helped me a great deal to complement my teaching job.
Well, I would like to add the great interest that I have in participating in new experiences that contribute to my development as a professional, in this great task, that is teaching.
