Dr. Henry Sun, Professor Asistente de Investigación para DRI/DEES con base en las Vegas, es un microbiólogo con intereses en investigación de endolithic microbes (organismos que viven en las rocas), microbiología en los desiertos, y  geo-microbiologia. Sus habilidades técnicas son diversas, incluyendo experiencia en geoquímica amino-ácida,  geoquímica isótopo, y biología molecular.
