My name is Shane Matson, and I teach in a very small K-12 school district in Leadore, Idaho. I’ve taught here for the past 22 years and feel like I’ve only just begun to learn science, even though I teach it every school day. I get to teach a variety of subjects each day and would like to be a better resource for my students and the school.

I look at this as a great opportunity and a wonderful experience to work with seasoned scientists and be amongst great educators.
