Christy Thompson During the Spaceward Bound Mojave 2008, Christy assisted in the use of thermographic images to detect cave openings. She was part of the first team to successfully complete a full 24 hours of thermographic research on a cave opening. Christy also assisted in the lab doing DNA extraction of the soil samples that were collected from the desert. She was part of the team that rescued the scientists that were stranded in the desert.
