Hi, my name is Samantha Wilson.  I’m from Red Bluff, California.  I’m going into my third year at California State University, Chico.  My major is Mathematics Education.  I’ve been active in many programs to prepare me as a future high school math teacher, including Project MATH, Chico High Academic Mentoring Program, and tutoring.

I play many sports, including indoor soccer, basketball, running, and swimming.  I have coached for the Red Bluff Tritons Swim Team for 3 years now and was assistant coach for Red Bluff High last year.  In my free time I enjoy drawing, painting, and playing the French Horn.

I’m looking forward to spending time at Lassen National Park.  I’m very excited to do research with NASA and some of my friends from Chico State.
