I grew up in Berkeley, and recently graduated from UC Santa Cruz
with a B.S. in Earth Science and a B.A. in Feminist Studies. In
my Earth Science classes I focused on Planetary Sciences, and my
thesis project involved modeling temperatures on Saturn’s moon
Titan. I am currently working at NASA Ames on an energy balance
model of the Earth, which I plan to apply to Mars. I enjoy
reading science fiction, playing croquet, hiking, backpacking, kayaking,
and playing sports, especially water polo.
