Wayne Sutton
MDRS Spaceward Bound Crew 54

Hello, my name is Wayne Sutton.  I am a Senior in the Mechanical Engineering (ME) Program at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). I chose ME because I am always thinking of new ideas that may benefit the world.  I started my education at Parkland College in Champaign IL in the Spring of 2001 and transferred to UIUC in the Spring of 2004 with a 3.94/4.00 GPA.    Other than the Summer of 2006, over the past 3 Summers while I was in college I worked as a subcontractor in roofing and construction of homes and garages.

I have a very strong insight and a lot of positive energy that is highly contagious.  I love working in groups as a leader or a follower, basically where I am needed to help to complete a task or project.  I love to go fishing, skydiving, and scuba diving.  I enjoy going to college basketball, pro baseball, and pro football games.  I have a passion for hunting Morel Mushrooms, spending time with my family and working for the Habitat for Humanity.  I have a philosiphy in life, “It is truly better to give help to someone in need than it is to receive.”
