Dr. Maite Trujillo San Martin is currently a Engineer & Project Manager at Boeing Research & Technology Europe at Boeing Research & Technology Europe. Formerly, she obtained a National Research Council grant at NASA Ames Research Center (California), where she was a researcher in the Human Systems Integration division and collaborated in Robotics & Education projects, such as the NASA RCC program. Previously, she was appointed as Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Wright State University, where she lectured at graduate and undergraduate level in Science and Engineering. She has always been devoted to encourage Science and Engineering at different educational levels by actively participating in scientific societies. She participated in the first Spaceward Bound Pilot Program that took place in the Atacama Desert in Chile (2006), where she was part of the Telecommunications team and contributed to the Spanish broadcast. Dr. Trujillo has a Ph.D. in Electronic & Computer Engineering and a MSc in Mathematical Sciences from Brunel University (London, UK) with a MEng and BSc in Electrical Engineering from University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain. Her research interests are in the field of robotics and control systems as well as space exploration.
