I have been teaching for 14 years and currently teach 5th grade at Goynes Elementary, in North Las Vegas, for Clark County School District. In my "free time" I enjoy traveling,scrapbooking, and spending time with my family. I have always been into Space Exploration. In the summer of 2008, I was one of 300 teachers, from all over the world, selected to participate in the Honeywell Space Academy training in Huntsville, AL. It was a dream come true and an experience that definitely enhanced my teaching. I have also participated in the JASON and Immersion science programs for the past 12 years. I have been a Teacher Trainer for the past two years, which has allowed me to take these programs to the next level in my professional career.

I am looking forward to this challenge and cannot wait to bring the experience back to the classroom and share with my peers.
