My name is Paul Robinson and I am a senior level Manufacturing Engineering major. I have been interested in NASA from a young age, participating in rocketry programs whenever possible. My path has lead me to Manufacturing Engineering and taking leadership in clubs along the way. I have been the treasurer for the Cal Poly Pomona branch of The Society Of Women Engineers (SWE) where I supported my friends’ cause and helped out in any way I could, the secretary for Associated Manufacturing Societies (AMS) and to currently being the Vice President of AMS. I am an avid believer in a well rounded education which has lead me to pursue a minor in English to complement my learning in Engineering and has also lead me to Spaceward Bound.

My plans for the future are to work in industry and then to use this real world experience to encourage and inspire young minds to explore the fields of engineering through teaching. Through Spaceward Bound I look forward to making the ties between research in NASA and its influences on products we use every day.
