Suggestions for Preparation:

As this will be our introduction, it would be wise for a teacher to prepare by browsing through some of the following sources to gain a feel for the content:

Space Shuttle Processing Information Course: This course was developed with the University student in mind, however it contains basic and background information that is useful to any age. The series begins at: http://watch.ksc.nasa.gov/ERAU.html however, in preparation for the Introduction, it is recommended that teachers focus on the following sections:
