The cargo ship will be carrying supplies for the next Expedition crew, Commander Yury Usachev and flight engineers Jim Voss and Susan Helms, who will replace the Expedition One crew next month. On Wednesday, Feb. 28, NASA Television plans live coverage of the Russian Progress supply ship's arrival at the space station. Coverage and commentary will originate from the Space Station Control Room at NASA's Johnson Space Center, Houston, TX, beginning at 4 a.m. EST. The automated Progress docking is planned for around 4:48 a.m. EST. Expedition One Soyuz Pilot Yuri Gidzenko will be stationed in the Zvezda Service Module to take over manual control of the docking operation, if necessary, as he did back in November during another Progress arrival. Commander Bill Shepherd and Flight Engineer Sergei Krikalev will also be standing by in the Service Module. The Expedition One crew is scheduled to return to Earth in late March aboard Space Shuttle Discovery, having lived aboard the space station for more than four months.
